Prior to joining Entrust in 2006, Jim gained years of experience as an accounting professional in private industry. Jim couples this experience with his public practice expertise to understand the needs of owner-managed businesses and deliver value-added services that meet those needs.
In addition to providing services in assurance, accounting, and taxation, Jim advises clients on internal process improvements to increase their bottom line. Jim prides himself on his commitment to his clients and measures his success by the extent he helps others achieve success.
Jim is a CA, a CGA, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree specialized in entrepreneurship.
In his spare time, Jim teaches a program at Vancouver Community College designed to guide prospective entrepreneurs in creating and building successful small businesses.
